Our Activities
Srijani SansthaPrimary School
Since 15th April 1993 we are organizing a primary co-educational school named “MONOMOHAN ACADEMY” in our village. As a social organization it is our duty to make literate person for the society. We are doing our duty very proudly from last 28 years. There are six class (Kg one to class 4), over 350 student, 30 plus teaching and non-teaching staff a very hard working managing committee involved with us. Our ex-students are well established in their own field.
Library
The library is a very useful institution. It is not possible for everybody to purchase books on every subject. In the library the same books pass through several hands by rotation. A man can read a large number of books at no cost. It is a fit place for close and careful study. Here, there is no disturbance and everybody can read with rapt attention.
The library helps a good deal in spreading knowledge and education. Many books are so costly that a man of average means cannot purchase them. People can derive benefit from these books by consulting them in the library.
Since 14th July1982 we are organizing a Library named “MONOMOHAN BASU SMRITI GRANTHAGAR”. As a social organization it is our duty to make literate person for the society. We are doing our duty very proudly from last 39 years. Over 2740 plus Books and 113 members and 3 very hard working librarians are involved with us. We are going to make a big reading room if we can collect fund..
Yoga School
Yoga is an art of discipline that originated in India 6000 Years. Yoga is a type of exercise that anyone can practice for physical and mental empowerment. Yoga is an art that consists of many “Asanas” (Postures or Positions). Each posture when followed as described will give us corresponding physical benefits.
Since 15th Aug 1982 we are organizing a Yoga training school named “DHRITI” in our village. Over 150 students of different aged boy, girl and house wives enlisted their name in our organization.
Drawing School
Drawing is at the root of all our visual communication. Drawing provides the foundation, structure and context of any great work of art.Since 2nd October1985 we are organizing a Drawing School named “CHITRABANI”. 150 plus students are involved with it
Dance School
Since 1st January 1985 we are organizing a Dance training school named “NUPUR” in our village. Over 110 students of different aged boy, girl and house wives enlisted their name in Dance School.
Corona Relief
In the course of the ongoing pandemic COVID-19, Srijani Sanstha has been extensively serving for the crisis. At the very point of the crisis, we provided with sanitizers, masks, and awareness which was most crucial to overcome the unknown circumstances. We stood beside more than 250 families who are daily workers by providing them with everyday groceries. Women were also given sanitary napkins.
Besides, we dealt with more than 100 people who were affected by the Corona virus and faced certain issues with their health and couldn’t reach hospitals. For such conditions, we helped them with Oxygen cylinders and took them to medical care at once. Also, for families where all members were affected by the virus, we arranged everyday food for them.
As the very solution to this situation was by maintaining distance for at least 6 feet, we couldn’t organize Blood donation camp. In such state of affairs, we gave blood bed to bed (by directly donating). Not forgetting about the fact that except this disease, people were also facing innumerable other diseases. For them who were in the need of emergency we helped out by reaching out to them and hospitalized when needed. We always stand by the people and try our best to make it.
